TROLLBEADS is based in Denmark and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Just like inheriting stories and spirits, TROLLBEADS invited BBP Arkitekter Architects to transform this 1960s building into the headquarters of TROLLBEADS Jewelry, bringing the old antiques to the present and revitalizing them.
This is a highly secure building, the structure is like the structure of the old Venetian merchants, the bottom layer is equipped with a safe unloading area, the top floor is set up as a stock company and office, and the top floor is a dwelling with a roof terrace.
The challenge for architects is how to harmonize with the surrounding historic buildings while respecting the architectural style.
In the design, the original curtain wall was removed, the existing concrete building was stripped out and extended 2.5 meters to the street. Instead, a new skin covered the building facade, roof and small courtyard, which was made of glass and yellow. Copper composition.
The brass façade and rhythmic windows coordinate with the surrounding historic buildings.
If you have great eyesight, you can also find a lizard-like three-dimensional pattern from the brass curtain wall, which is the idea of Lise Aargaard, one of the founders of TROLLBEADS. During the tourist season in Denmark, you can even see that many tourists spend a few hours just to find this lucky lizard.
When the working hours are over, the curtain wall will automatically close and the entire building will form an anti-theft vault. After entering the night, the interior lights up dimly lit, infiltrating the brass-colored curtain wall to form a modern glass building image.
There is a "Star Avenue" in the corner of the headquarters. Jewelers who have participated in the TROLLBEADS Academy training will leave a 22K gold fingerprint here.
22K gold is not only used inside the TROLLBEADS Academy, but also in the Pearl.
