Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone Revisited

"

This Trollbeads blog brings a little inspiration for one of my favourite gemstones, the Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone.

The Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone debuted as part of the autumn 2015 collection. Looking back over the live images of that release, it was absolutely spectacular! I can remember at the time being slightly unenthusiastic about the stone featuring though. It felt more of a spring colour to me and I wasn’t sure I’d ever get much use out of it. How wrong I was! It’s proven to be one of the stones I use most consistently, although ironically it’s also one that shows the least amount of individual variation.

VALINOR Boutique were recently kind enough to send me a selection of gemstones for us in editorial content. I always find stones much easier to use in multiples but actually having that many beads at my disposal is unrealistic (generally speaking.) While experimenting with various ideas I stumbled across the combination I’m showcasing today and I’m so enamoured with it!

I have to confess this bracelet is the result of a design session for the True Beadz Shadow glass. I was trying to experiment with other colour mixes and something a little more seasonally appropriate. It’s a mix of multiple Feldspar Moonstones, the True Beadz True Blossom Shadow and True Blossom Siberia, the True Air Shadow and the Trollbeads Love and Laughter.

The silver beads are all Trollbeads and I’ve opted for their more abstract designs. I also included a pair of Trollbeads Copper Spacers and the Copper Bead. I think this combination will be staying together for a while now as I absolutely adore it.

Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone Ordering Details

As I mentioned at the start of the article, there isn’t a huge amount of variation in these beads. Some have a deeper colour than others and of course all stones vary a little in size but I would consider it one of few that you’re safe to purchase from stock images. Alternatively if you want to disrupt my plans, a couple of these beads are for sale on my Facebook page.

You can shop directly via Trollbeads USA (and please note this link is affiliate,) or via my retail partners below:-

Alternatively you can also still find it as part of the Falling in Love with Trollbeads capsule collection at VALINOR Boutique or Trollbeads Akron.

Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone Summary

I seem to spend most of my life putting together bracelets either for editorial content here or social media (remember to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and the VALINOR Boutique Instagram and Facebook page) and yet it’s still a rare occurrence that I make a combination I truly want to keep together and wear repeatedly myself. It happened most recently with my moth themed bracelet (pictured below) and I’m shocked I now have a second bracelet I’m wanting to keep together.

I think arguably it could benefit from one more copper bead in the centre but otherwise I adore the colour combination. The neutral True Beadz prevent it becoming too pastel for me and yet it’s a much lighter and less autumnal feeling bracelet than my other experiments with the Shadow glass.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone? Do you have any of these stones? Which of the Trollbeads stones do you find yourself using the most? Hit the comments and let me know!
