This Pandora charm bracelet blog alerts readers to the launch of the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2017 collection.

Today sees the global launch of the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2017 collection! They’re not the first brand to be showcasing their Valentine’s collection this year as Chamilia marginally beat them when launching their Spring 2017 release. Ohm Beads are next on February the 1st but the preview date is next week (January the 18th.)

Pandora do Valentine’s Day so well. I’m not a huge fan of the occasion I must admit but when it comes to more traditionally romantic designs, Pandora are close to unbeatable. Hearts, sparkle and pink are something Pandora have perfected. Despite my general lack of enthusiasm for the day itself we’re also seeing another stunning murano glass.

Since I specifically highlight the new murano, it seems a perfect starting point for the preview. The Pandora Cerise Hearts Murano is a darker version of the Pink Hearts Murano from 2015. I really liked the original and do have one but I also prefer deeper shades. It will retail at €39 or $55.

For those who share my love of the shocking cerise, there are four further charms using the same accents. The first is the Pandora Gift of Love, a super cute heart shaped gift box using pink enamel and adorned with a sparkling bow decoration. It’s retailing at €69 or $75.

The next is the Pandora Encased in Love. While I’m not at all a hearts and flowers kind of girl, I do love this design and I suspect it’s going to be one of the most popular from the release. The silver openwork sits as a cage around a faceted pink stone. It’s retailing at €59 or $65.

One of my favourites is the Pandora Latin Love Heart, purely because I fell in love with the language at an early age. It’s retailing at €39 or $45.

The final charm is the Pandora Struck by Love with just a splash of the cerise enamel. It’s retailing at €59 or $65 but in the USA it will feature as part of Valentine’s Day gift set.

Those who prefer a softer, baby pink shade are also catered for. First comes a soft pink version of the Pandora Open Your Heart Clip, retailing at €59 or $75.

The Pandora Wonderful Love is a button style charm with a central pretty pink enamel heart. It’s retailing at €65 or $70.

Meanwhile the Pandora Lace Bow Heart looks to be leaning more towards the coral shades from the stock image. It’s a lovely decorative charm retailing at €45 or $50.

The Pandora Ribbon of Love is one of the very few slightly plainer designs in this release but even then there’s a touch of sparkle creeping in. It’s retailing at $40.

Pandora’s duo-tone charms have always been hugely popular as you can acquire a splash of gold without extremely prohibitive prices. The first is the new Pandora Love Script with the small gold heart detail in the corner. It’s retailing at €69 or $75.

The second is the Pandora Love You Forever; a dangle style heart shaped charm with a small gold heart and sparkling bail. It’s retailing at €59 or $65.

There’s also a new set of the Petites for the Floating Locket concept. They’re retailing at €29 or $30.

Pandora Valentine’s Day 2017 Summary

This release is everything a cute and girl Valentine’s Day collection should be about. It’s sparkly, it’s pink and there’s a whole lot of romance radiating from the charms. I’m very pleased to see them continuing to support their Floating Locket with new Petites. Though I’ve not indulged in one yet, this is purely because none of the Petites to date have suited my tastes. As soon as they appear, I know my willpower will crumble. I’m still happy to see them launch another selection though since I always felt that Trollbeads released their interchangeable fantasy necklace concept and then abandoned it with no new pendants seen for quite some time.

I’ll update the database with the new charms later today. I’m somewhat behind with that due to handling the Elfbeads sales. On that note do remember that I’m selling my entire Elfbeads collection so please contact me either via email (VALINOR@gmail.com) or via my Facebook page.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2017 collection? Will you be indulging in any of these new pieces? Hit the comments and let me know!
