This Pandora jewellery blog brings a (late) but complete preview of the recently debuted Pandora Spring 2017 collection.
Last week saw the global launch of the new Pandora Spring 2017 collection. Firstly I should apologise for the lateness of this article but in this instance we’ll need to take a better late than never approach. As many of you who follow me on social media (Facebook and Instagram) are likely aware, I do have a new puppy running riot at home.
The spring and autumn releases are always enormous and real highlights of the Pandora release diary. It’s understandable as there’s a wealth of inspiration from both the natural and fashion world.
Typically of Pandora they’ve opted for a plethora of delicate, feminine, floral designs for the spring season. The charms are accented with both enamel and cubic zirconia and once again though there is very little glass debuting, it’s an example of quality over quantity. This preview purely covers the core Pandora Spring 2017 release as opposed to the additions for Pandora Rose or the Pandora Disney collection.
Pandora Spring 2017
The new Pandora Field of Flowers glass are beautiful. I’m not generally a fan of floral glass as I do find it dated, regardless of the brand but it’s difficult to not admire the execution of these new charms. They’re retailing at $50 or £40 and have launched in pink, purple or blue though the North American market doesn’t appear to have received the latter.

Though the Field of Flowers series are the glass designs, the new Pandora Radiant Droplet charms offer a different style of colour. These are silver charms set with three coloured, faceted crystals. They’re retailing at $60 or £50 and a total of seven shades are launching for the spring.

The underlying motif from the spring release is magnolias and this year they’re accented with a soft baby pink enamel. The pricing of this series is as follows:-
- Pandora Magnolia Bloom Button Charm– $65 / £60
- Pandora Magnolia Bloom – $55 / £45
- Pandora Magnolia Bloom Clip – $60 / £45
- Pandora Magnolia Bloom Spacer – $40 / £30
- Pandora Magnolia Bloom Dangle Charm – $60 / £50
- Pandora Magnolia Bloom Pendant – $55 / £40

The floral theme is continued with a slight expansion to the Dazzling Daisy series with a spacer ($40 / £30,) pendant charm ($85 / £70) and meadow charm ($85 / £70) are all launching. The Dazzling Daisy Meadow charm is the highlight of the new designs for me and it’s pink crystal stone should complement the rest of the release. It’s reminiscent of the original Pandora Radiant Hearts designs albeit with the additional floral detailing.

On the subject of Radiant Hearts, a clear version of this popular and focal charm has debuted at $80 or £60.

The Poetic Blooms line is also receiving a couple of new additions. This includes a dazzling new clip ($70 / £60,) a set of petites for the floating locket ($30 / £25) and the highlight for me being the new Pandora Poetic Blooms Bracelet, retailing at $80 or £75.

A second theme within the collection is that of family, love and celebration. We are of course heading into wedding season and some of these charms are aimed at that market, though there’s also a new birthday cake charm. The pricing is as follows:-
- Pandora Interlinked Circles – $100 / £80
- Pandora Classic Heart Clip – $75 / £60
- Pandora Lavish Heart – $75 / £60
- Pandora Signature Heart Dangle – $80 / £70
- Pandora Wedding Heart – $95 / £75
- Pandora Celebration Heart – $40 / £30
- Pandora Thank You Heart – $50 / £35
- Pandora Happy Birthday Heart – $55 / £45
- Pandora Lucky Day – $50 / £40
- Glittering Hearts of Pandora – $60 / £50

There are a few lovely decorative pieces that have launched, including new signature clips and safety chains. There’s also a stunning fairy tale crown.
- Pandora Fairy Tale Crown – $55 / £45
- Pandora Insignia Clip – $40 / £35
- Pandora Insignia Safety Chain – $80 / £70

There are four new gold charms all of which are incredibly elaborate pieces. I suspect these might be love or hate designs due to the use of cubic zirconia but I confess I adore the Pandora Opulent Floral. The pricing is as follows:-
- Pandora Opulent Floral – $400 / £349
- Pandora Gold Shimmering Droplets – $400
- Pandora Romantic Heart – $400 / £349
- Pandora Embellished Floral – $350 / £299

Finally there’s a new line of birthstone petites for the floating pendant. They each retail at $40 or £35. In the compilation below they’re pictured from left to right, January through to December.

Pandora Spring 2017 Summary
What a pretty collection from Pandora. Theoretically I should not like the new Field of Flowers Murano and yet I’m sorely tempted to visit my local concept store and see them in person with the purple holding the most appeal for me based on the stock images.
I have to confess I’m also quite intrigued by the new Radiant Droplets, at least the paler, cooler shades.
Florals do not generally appeal to me but I do understand their popularity, especially heading into the spring season. The highlight for me is undoubtedly the gold Opulent Floral charm though the price is rather intimidating!
