This Pandora charm bracelet blog celebrates the launch of the Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 collection to the UK with a preview.
The UK’s relatively early celebration of Mothering Sunday (this year on March the 26th,) compared to the more commonly acknowledged Mother’s Day in May always causes a small issue for the brands. Trollbeads tackle the issue by releasing their collection early (actually next week.) By contrast Pandora always have a smaller release exclusive to the UK and then launch their main collection on April the 13th.
Today saw the Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 launch and it’s predictably quite focused on the very family orientated designs.

Pandora Mother’s Day 2017
Though the charms are predominantly focused on that mother child bond, there are a couple of more generic pieces debuting. Included is the anticipated new limited edition Pandora Loving Heart Bangle, retailing at £65. This time the engraving reads “You are so loved” which is incredibly sweet and should have appeal beyond Mother’s Day.

Also debuting is the limited edition Pandora Precious Heart charm with it’s shimmering white enamel and gold heart detailing. This proved incredibly popular on social media when images were initially leaked and again it has a more broad appeal for collectors. It’s retailing at £65.

The Pandora Mother & Son Bond and Pandora Love for Mother charms have a similar openwork heart shaped design and both retail at a very reasonable £35.

With the Mother & Son Bond launching, the brand simply had to represent a mother and daughter relationship too. The Pandora Mother & Daughter Hearts has a more feminine splash of pink enamel in the split charm style. It’s retailing at £50.

Meanwhile the Pandora Tribute to Mum charm has a raised heart detailing set on a backdrop of silver and embedded stones. It’s retailing at £35.

I suspect the Pandora I Love My Mum charm will prove hugely popular with collectors and though the theme doesn’t appeal to me, I do like the cut out detailing. It’s retailing at £40.

The Pandora Family & Love charm was another much anticipated following image leaks (as duo-tone tend to be.) It’s also a little more versatile as it doesn’t specifically mention mothers. It’s retailing at £55.

Two gift sets are being offered for the occasion. The first is the Pandora Luminous Knot Gift Set which is super versatile and incredibly feminine. It’s retailing at a promotion price of £99 (with a full value of £130.)

The second is the Pandora Centre of My Heart Bracelet which would make a lovely gift and retails at the promotional price of £99 (with a value of £125.)

Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 Summary
I never generally allow myself to be particularly excited for Mother’s Day releases regardless of brand. They have absolutely no appeal or relevance to me so I always get quite excited when there’s something I do like. This time I really do love that limited edition bangle as I think the engraving is so lovely.
For those of you who use my database, I’ll be entering all of these charms after dinner so they’ll be available for you to add to your wishlist or jewellery box then.
As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 collection, albeit this reduced version for the UK? Will you be indulging or are you hoping for anything as a gift? Hit the comments and let me know!
