This Pandora charm bracelet blog celebrates the launch of the Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 collection with a complete overview of the new designs.
Today sees the global launch of the Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 collection, ahead of most regions celebrating the occasion on May the 14th. The UK already saw a smaller version of this collection launch back in February but it understandably focused predominantly on the family-centric charms. For those in the UK, the rest of the collection is launching today also, albeit marketed as the second part of the Pandora Spring 2017 release. It’s quite a sizeable release but given Pandora’s target market, this comes as no real surprise.
Though the release is of course focused on family life, there are some more varied charms appearing which is fantastic news.

Pandora Mother’s Day 2017
The highlight of the release for many I suspect is the new limited edition bangle. It’s inscribed with the words “you are so loved” which has broader appeal than purely for mother’s and I’m so appreciative of this. Though it’s difficult to discern from the images, the clasp actually features white pearlescent enamel heart detailing. It’s retailing at

In addition a new colour of Pandora Leather Bracelet is also launching; a simple white for the spring season. It’s worth noting the design has been updated with the newer spherical clasp which I personally think feels far more contemporary than the original barrel clasp and all of the leather bracelets have been updated accordingly. It’s retailing at $50.

I’ve mentioned before that I view Pandora safety chains as the equivalent of the Trollbeads locks; they’re the finishing touch to a bracelet combination. Considering that I always have the opinion that the more, the better. The new Pandora Love Always Safety Chain is retailing at $40 and it’s a simple and elegant design with appeal far beyond Mother’s Day.

The first set of charms are those overtly themed for Mother’s Day. These are also the designs that have already launched in the UK in February. Tribute to Mom is a familiar design albeit with raised detailing this time. It’s retailing at $50.

Love for Mother is a similar design with a more openwork style though the heart laser cuts around the exterior are identical. It’s retailing at $45.

The next charms didn’t launch in the UK in February but are still strongly themed towards motherhood or parents to be.
I suspect the Pandora Baby Treasures charm is going to be incredibly popular and it is endearing. It’s retailing at $55.

Staying on the subject of babies comes the new Pandora Baby’s Pram with a distinctly vintage vibe. It’s retailing at $45.

The following charms are a little more versatile though they are still focusing on personal relationships.
The Pandora Precious Heart is this year’s limited edition charm with lovely pearlescent enamel and the gold heart detailing. I think this is so elegant.

The Pandora Tree of Hearts is my absolute favourite piece from this release. The design is essentially the same as the Precious Heart above but it has the family tree detailing instead. That said I’d love to use it just as a fantasy inspired piece as I think it has such a magical feel.

The Pandora Family & Love Clip is retailing at $65 and much like safety chains, I appreciate the brand adding more themes and options even if they don’t personally resonate with me.

The Pandora My Wife Always is a very sweet dangle style charm with some lovely ornate detailing. It’s retailing at $55.

The Pandora Interlocked Hearts is a familiar design though it’s received a sparkling makeover as is in keeping with Pandora’s newer aesthetic.

The Pandora Hearts of Romance is an openwork style charm with the gold detailing and it’s retailing at $75.

The Pandora Dazzling Heart brings a little colour to the release with the pink stones. It’s very eye catching and I’m looking forward to seeing this in person. It would look so striking on the new white leather.

Closing the romance themed charm is the Pandora Heart of Love dangle and the pearlescent white enamel detailing seen elsewhere in the release is continued here.

The next couple of charms feel quite out of place in the release but still they deliver more versatility.

Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 Ordering Details

Pandora Mother’s Day 2017 Summary
I always struggle to muster a lot of enthusiasm for Mother’s Day collections as they just have no relevance to me. That said I do see the appeal of many of the designs and I was pleased to see a little more versatility here than I expected. That said the Tree of Hearts is a charm that appeals to me massively and I’m semi tempted to have it as the focal feature on the new white leather. I was also very pleased to see the leather bracelets updated with the new style of clasp so despite the fact I don’t have children, there is still something for me within this release.
