This Pandora charm bracelet blog celebrates the launch of the Pandora Christmas 2016 collection with a complete preview.

Today sees the official global launch of the Pandora Christmas 2016 collection. Actually the launch seems to have been staggered with some UK retailers listing their charms as early as last week. Though US based retailers generally sell their stock ahead of the official launch date, the procedure is generally more structured in Europe. Regardless today is when you’ll see the phenomenal marketing machine that is Pandora begin.

I have always had a weakness for Pandora winter collections. Pandora’s sparkling aesthetic and the Christmas season are so perfectly suited to each other and though we’re only in November, I find myself getting more than a touch excited when I browse these new charms.

Pandora Christmas 2016

The collection falls into two distinct themes; winter and Christmas. The seasonal winter charms see midnight blue colours, complementing dazzling cubic zirconia. Meanwhile the Christmas charms offer more traditional festive reds and a touch of playful enamel to create a quite whimsical array of designs.

First though are two lovely new bangles. The first is the limited edition Pandora Unique Snowflake Bangle with that beautifully decorative clasp. It’s retailing at €69 or £65 and in the USA it’s set to be part of the Black Friday promotions.

Second is the Pandora Entwined Bangle which is perfect for stacking. It’s retailing at $125, €119 or £115.

New charms for the Floating Locket have also launched. I’ve yet to indulge in one of these primarily because petite memories charms haven’t appealed yet but I adore the concept.

As has become the norm for Pandora in recent years, the release is predominantly silver and pavé with just a single glass design launching. It’s easy to argue that what Pandora lack in quantity in regards to glass they make up for in quality as once again I’m fiercely coveting their new creation. The Pandora Starry Night (in the UK it’s the Night Sky Murano) will retail at $50, €49 or £45 so it’s not a cheap charm. I absolutely adore the colours and the sparkle however.

The Pandora Radiant Hearts Midnight Blue sees a familiar design given a wintery makeover. It’s retailing at $80, €65 or £55 and is a deeper shade of blue than has been seen before.

Two charms I utterly fell in love with from the live images was the Pandora Vintage Night Sky and Pandora Vintage Night Sky Dangle. Both of these make use of a glittering midnight blue enamel to create a starry night effect. They manage to capture a certain romantic air and would look stunning with the Night Sky murano. Both of these are retailing at $60, €49 or £45.

The new clip for this season is the Pandora Crystalised Snowflake Clip and it’s so perfect for either Christmas or the winter season. It’s retailing at $60, €59 or £50.

A stunning complement comes by way of the Pandora Patterns of Frost charm. I’m a winter person in general but this is so beautiful. It’s retailing at $75, €65 or £55. In the UK it’s marketed as the Pandora Winter Moments.

For those of you who prefer to avoid colour or perhaps need more versatility comes the Pandora Heart of Winter charm. This will integrate into any existing colour scheme and it’s retailing at $50, €39 or £35. In the UK it’s marketed as the Pandora Frosted Heart.

I’m not generally a hearts and flowers kind of girl so the Pandora Crystalised Floral (Ice Floral in the UK) isn’t for me but I do think it’s going to be enormously popular. It’s retailing at $75 or £60. The dangle version of it is retailing at €59 or £50.

The new Pandora Galaxy Spacer uses the popular Galaxy charm design in a contemporary feeling charm. It’s retailing at $40, €35 or £30.

The Pandora Shimmering Droplets London Blue brings this popular design to the winter collection. It’s retailing at $70 or €65.

Moving onto the Classic Christmas charms these are all so cute. They focus on traditional festive reds which I have to confess is a colour I struggle with in charm bracelets. First comes the Pandora Shimmering Gift; the latest take on their ever popular gift box charm. It’s retailing at $85, €79 or £70.

The new Pandora Sleighing Santa is the latest version of the sleigh charms and it looks lovely. It’s always fun to see the evolution of detail. It’s retailing at $55, €45 or £40.

The Pandora Mrs Claus comes complete with gingerbread man in her arms and red enamel accents. In the US it’s exclusive to Jared’s. In Europe she’s retailing at €39 and in the UK at £35.

One of my favourites from this release and definitely on my wishlist despite it’s limited use is the Pandora Santa’s Home. This is so quaint and cosy. It’s retailing at $55, €39 or £35.

The Pandora Adornment is debuting in ether red or blue and both retail at $65, €59 or £50.

The Pandora Snowman is very cute and again he’s using clear stones rather than coloured which makes him integrate into any existing bracelet. It’s retailing at $50, €49 or £45.

The Pandora Angel of Love is reminiscent of the original and long retired angel but I still don’t generally like faces in silver, regardless of the brand. It’s retailing at $50, €39 or £35.

This leads to the gold and duo-tone charms. The Pandora Angel of Grace is similar to the new silver charm but they’ve reduced the amount of gold to keep the price a little lower. It’s retailing at $400, €399 or £350.

I suspect the Pandora Loving Bloom will prove very popular as it’s such a versatile design rather than being limited to the holidays. It’s retailing at $350, €349 or £315.

Equally I suspect the Pandora Loving Circle will be another hugely popular item for Christmas. It’s retailing at $80, €79 or £70.

The Pandora Loving Family is a simple duo-tone dangle retailing at $75, €69 or £60.

The Pandora Snowflake Heart is so beautiful but I personally struggle with the text on this charm. That said I bet it proves a popular gift for Christmas and it’s retailing at $75, €79 or £70.
