I want to make a disclaimer immediately. These articles will reference events occurring in series six. If you are not upto date with the TV show, please do not read these articles (unless you don’t care for potential spoilers.
The latest series of Game of Thrones started a few weeks ago and like many, I’d been eagerly awaiting it’s return. For the past couple of years I’ve been celebrating one of my favourite shows (and book series) with themed charm bracelets. For those of you unfamiliar with the series, Game of Thrones is brimming with intrigue, murder and sex in a fantasy setting. If you like dragons and magic, it’s definitely worth checking out either the books or the TV show.
Game of Thrones 2016 – Daenerys Inspiration
At the end of series five we saw Daenerys flee on the back of Drogon. It was an incredibly epic scene that left me squealing in my chair. Unfortunately the start of series six sees things tumbling out of control for Daenerys. She’s now been practically incarcerated into a colony of Khal widows. This bangle was made to represent Daenerys’ journey to this place. She’s pictured wearing a beautifully elegant floor length blue dress that matches her pale skin and silver hair beautifully. When the Elfbeads Ocean Scales launched as part of the Shades of Summer collection, I mentioned immediately that I thought it had potential for draconic bracelets.

I indulged in the Waxing Poetic Essence of Life Bangle as soon as it debuted. Though it’s actually meant to be thorn details on the ends, I felt they resembled dragon teeth so it became a must have for me. I’ve stacked it with the bangle for this look. The bottom bangle is the Chamilia Bar Bracelet which proved super popular with my readers!
